Svenska Spel, Swedish state-owned gambling operator has taken measures to deepen its sporting links by announcing two new sporting sponsorships. The company made an announcement after collaborating with Olympic Committee (SOK) and the national team’s Ski Association of the country.
The new seven-year agreement will come to effect from 1st July and would be worth 8.5 million Euros. And it will include a handsome amount of investment in various talent programs of the committee. Patrik Hofbauer, President and the CEO of Svenska Spel while sharing his thought on this subject said that their firm is excited to enter a new collaboration with SOK.
He said that Swenska Casino, the largest sports sponsor in Sweden wants to contribute to making Swedish Olympians all the more successful. It said that it will offer its best possible support to offer the best possible conditions.
Swedish Olympic Committee head, Peter Reinebo expressed his views on this by saying that Svenska Spel has contributed for Swedish sports for a long time. Further, he said that the agreement with Svenska Spel would give Sweden’s Olympic Committee and their Olympic athletes better conditions to achieve competitive results in the long run.
Svenska Spel has pledged to invest to help for the development of young talent and also entered in a seven-year-long agreement which stands for SEK 80m. Ola Stromberg, head of the Swedish Ski Association appreciated the contribution of Svenska Spel for the Swedish sports. He said that this new collaboration will provide the national team new opportunities and Svenska Spel will play a significant role in ensuring the right development of young talents.
