AVIXA, Information and communication industry, made its presence in the Association of Luxury Suite Directors (ALSD) trade show and conference, which was held at Chicago last week. For two days, the show had moderated four different panels. All the panels focused on how stadiums, arenas, and theatres can use AV devices to enhance user experience. AV stands for Audio Visual device which receives audio and video signals from different sources to project it on television, monitor and video projector. The motive of the trade show and conference was to promote the AV industry into closed spaces such as stadiums and theatres.
Brad Grimes is the senior director of communication in AVIXA. He said in a session that it is time to use technology in a new and creative way. In addition to the session moderated by Grime, several professional AV manufacturers, including Bose, Premier Mounts, and SNA Display, took part in the trade show. More than 100 speakers took part in fifty sessions. And AV industry product was displayed on more than a hundred booths with pop up display. It was the 29th ALSD conference and 6th annual design and build forum.
