Every Journey Begins With A Step
During his time as a Board Agent with the National Labor Relations Board, Jason spent time envisioning how he could help the companies that were often targeted by labor unions while helping to create harmonious work environments for managers and employees. In 2005, Jason left his role as an NLRB Board Agent and became an employee and labor relations consultant, operating under his newly created company, Greer Consulting, Inc. He wanted to help employers create stronger and more robust work environments for their managers and employees.
The only problem was he was quickly running through the money that he saved from his time as an NLRB Board Agent. With no marketing budget and limited prospects, Jason decided to do some pro-bono work to gain experience. Jason was willing to do free work as long as it meant he had the opportunity to further his skill set while adding client testimonials to his arsenal. Within two years, Jason started gaining traction in the industry and his client roster began to increase.
Leveraging His Strategy
Jason knew that it was necessary to offer a completely different approach to employee and labor relations if he had any chance to stand out from the competitors in his field. That’s when Jason created the Employee Whisperer Methodology which aims at gaining a thorough understanding of the issues and challenges employees and managers face – from their perspective. The Employee Whisperer method provided solutions and expertise for companies on empowering and retaining employees and managers while also helping those systems remain union-free.
