Many people have made a positive impact by dedicating themselves for the betterment of the society, and we have one such blessed soul amongst us who has done exceptionally well through his various social giving initiatives, he is Umar Manzoor, who hails from Pakistan, now settled in England.
The 30-year-old says that he has always had that philanthropic streak in him which has been largely imbibed through his mother who herself has been a part of many charitable initiatives all her life. Umar says, “After I lost her in 2017, there was a great sense of continuing her legacy, which looked after the needs of those who were suffering from the grave adversities of life. Founding the charity Al-Fikr in her remembrance didn’t need much thought and was officially established in 2018.” The charitable organization works diligently for the welfare of mankind across the globe and is not limited to any geographical demographics, ethnicity, religion, colour or gender. It wants to take the whole world under its wings and make it a better place to live in. Located in Milton Keynes, England, the charity looks after its global initiatives fromits base.
Umar Manzoor has also been rated as an upcoming singer whose talent has been widely appreciated. His impressive debut song Bekhud, produced by Irfan Chaudry released last year in May won a million hearts and topped the music charts. This warm response from the audiences boosted Umar’s confidence and he came out with more soulful numbers like Ya Nabi, Khuda Ki, Madinay Ke Aaqa and Sukoon, which also received much appreciation leading to a couple of his singles,Ya Nabi and Sukoon, garnering over 200K views on various music streaming platforms including YouTube. The unique amalgamation of Arabic and Punjabi music makes him all the more endearing as an artist who has set his strong foothold in the UK, South Asia and the Arab countries, making him one of the most looked upon music artists of the future.
