Born in Mansfield, Ohio, artist GMT Armani started taking music seriously four years ago in 2017 when he dropped “Came From” alongside fellow GMT members “Shad Dolla” and “A1”. Some fans may have been around since the beginning when his group sold out a show in their city, or seen him perform alongside heavy hitters like Lil Durk, G Herbo, Lil Baby, Waka Flocka, and many other notable artists.
Armani explains how he grew his platform organically by consistently performing shows and releasing music. Despite some of the challenging setbacks and roadblocks that are often common in the music industry, Armani has found his groove and recognizes his uniqueness as an artist.
Known for his versatility and flows, Armani has really made a name for himself through his hard work and dedication. He states, “I believe in the law of attraction. You gon’ get what you lookin’ for if you never stop lookin’. It’s up to you to seize the opportunity– it won’t wait on you”.
But Armani shows not signs of slowing down anytime soon, and has some big goals for himself looking into the future. Not only does he see himself performing at Lollapalooza 2022, he also aims to give back to the youth in his community.
It is no surprise why GMT Armani has gotten all of his success thus far, and you can look out for his latest mixtape “Cut Different” which will showcase his unique sounds and talents. You can hear more from him and his latest projects at his Instagram.
