Vietnam was praised for the tactical shooter during the Vietnam war. To celebrate the release of Green Army Men mode, Rising Storm 2 game was free up to 16th July, 10 am in Vietnam. The chance of free play over the week was enjoyed by millions of people. There is also a significant sale going on for the game and its DLC cosmetic bundles. Tripwire and Antimatter are two development teams behind the game, who launched the game in Vietnam on 9th July.
As the game was free to play for one week and ended the free play period on 16 July, now it is no more free to play. The new and existing users will now have to pay to enjoy this game and continue their missions. How much amount the developers are charging is available at games’ operating system. The company initially may charge less from the gamers to promote and make accessible the game to many people.
The developers had earlier added Green Army Men into Rising Storm 2, which was the idea of modders in the community. The idea worked well over Christmas. Tripwire and Antimatter came together with modders to turn it into a fully fleshed out DLC for the game. When people heard that Rising Storm 2 is now free to play in Vietnam, millions joined the game to become familiar with it. It would be interesting to watch how would the gameplay progress in Vietnam with a paid subscription.
