The average 18-year-old might pass the time by studying, hanging out with friends, or naively attempting to figure out potential next steps in life. Durim Zuta, however, is nowhere near your average 18-year-old in New York City. In fact, he’s quite the polar opposite. Although he carries many titles, we’ll go with these few: car collector, entrepreneur, and owner of a self-made luxury car service.
Growing up a car-lover, Zuta was taking his father’s Rolls Royce to local car shows in the city by age 14. Amongst the crowd was a variety of entrepreneurs– some of them heavily involved in the automobile business industry of the east coast. Shocked by Zuta’s young age, and impressed by his taste in cars, most of them offered him the same piece of advice: “Find a way to turn your talents into business. There’s a lot of money in cars,” they’d tell him. And for a driven teenage kid with an obsession, that was all the push he needed to get started on what would become a life-changing endeavor. He began learning the ropes of car services by utilizing his wide network of auto entrepreneurs and serving as a broker for a small set of established clients. Just four years and a heavy investment into a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder later, Tristate Luxury Rentals was born.
For $1,400 a day, you can (temporarily) upgrade your ride and drive the same Lamborghini that started it all. Or, if you’re feeling even more adventurous, you can drive one of the other dozen cars in the business’s heavily admired “Fleet”. Not looking to drive? Thankfully, they’ve still got you covered. The business offers a 24-hour chauffeur service to those who are interested in riding in style, but would rather not put in the extra work. It’ll just cost you a few hundred dollars per hour.
Luxury car rentals are a hot commodity in the current market. On a vacation or a business trip, renting a high-end ride is a fun way to add pizzaz to an otherwise ordinary occasion. It’s no secret that expensive cars turn heads– and that’s not just on the streets. Zuta tells us a grand portion of his client base actually uses the vehicles as accessories in upcoming music videos and television shows. In just under 10 years of service, Tristate Luxury Rentals has already provided services to a long list of A-list celebrities and artists including French Montana, Casanova, Lil Uzi Vert, Diddy, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and dozens more. So if you’re looking to level up in the driving department, Tristate Luxury Rentals helps you do it as the stars would.

The rental showroom, located in North Jersey, showcases all ten cruisers in The Fleet for clients’ choosing. On top of running the car services, Zuta also owns a vehicle customization shop located on the rear side of the showroom. Although it is usually dedicated to keeping the business’s cars in pristine condition, the shop is also available to the public for vehicle customization.
So what does an 18-year-old who seems to have it all figured out want to do next? Well, keep going and growing, of course. In the future, Zuta plans on catering to his VIP clientele by building an exclusive assortment of rare, unique cars that are rarely seen on the market. He also plans on doubling the number of cars in the business by August 2022. “Considering the way that it’s going, it shouldn’t be too difficult. Thankfully, most of my clients love cars as much as I do. That’s how I know this is just the beginning,” he says.
