Dr. Charles attended college at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He followed his passions to help people attain the beauty standards they created for themselves by becoming a plastic surgeon, and he has helped thousands of people with aesthetic facial surgeries.
Dr. Lee has appeared on popular TV shows, such as The Doctors, Oprah, CNN with Paula Zahn, Montel Williams, and Tyra Banks. His goal is to raise awareness about the benefits of facial surgery for the public. Most notably, Dr. Lee performs facial and rhinoplasty surgery when they have trouble breathing due to a physical problem, such as a deviated septum. A deviated septum is a condition where the septum that separates the two sides of the nose is not fully aligned and is located off to one side. This condition causes one nasal passage to be smaller than the other, and symptoms include shortness of breath, unable to exercise due to lack of oxygen, nasal congestion, sinus infections, facial pain, and nosebleeds. Severe cases require surgery to repair the septum, opening up both nostrils fully.
He does not restrict his practice to rhinoplasty. He offers many other surgical procedures, such as facelifts, eyelid surgery, cheek reduction, jawline reduction, brow lift, body sculpting, breast enhancement, lifting, and reduction, among many others. His MEDSPA clinic also offers nonsurgical procedures for people who do not want to undergo invasive surgeries. These include ThermiVa®, laser hair removal, injectable fillers, BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport®, laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels, ThermiTight®, ThermiSmooth®, light treatments, thread lift, Ultherapy®, KYBELLA®, and Vivace RF microneedling. More information can be found at his MEDSPA website. Many of his clients are Asian, and he is dedicated to preserving their cultural heritage while sculpting their flaws to create beauty. One major accomplishment Dr. Lee has made is in introducing the use of BOTOX® to slenderize the jawline. He has performed over 10,000 of these procedures.
In addition to creating art on people’s faces, Dr. Lee also creates digital art that he displays on his TikTok (where he has about 905,000 followers) and Instagram accounts. He posts before and after pictures and videos of his clients and their pleased comments after the procedures. He truly is an artist in every sense of the word.
Dr. Lee is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, putting among a very small group of double board-certified plastic surgeons. His specialty, Asian surgeries, makes him an even more rare doctor. He is quite possibly the only double board-certified plastic surgeon in North America who works with Asian aesthetic plastic surgeries as frequently. Dr. Lee is certainly astonishing!
