CEO of Tenacity Financial, Jay Gauthier Jr. recently spoke on a stage of over 40,000 people across the United States and Canada at the MGM Grand garden arena in Las Vegas. ‘Don’t quit. No matter what. Never. Ever. Quit,’ was his advice to young entrepreneurs. He made sure listeners understood that mental toughness, tenacity, relentlessness, decision making ability, staying focused, learning and improving are the ornaments of a successful entrepreneur.
Gauthier Jr. was born, raised and now operates from El Monte, California. His business ‘Tenacity’ has been in the leadership development and financial sector since 8 years and has grown as a firm to around 175 agents. Their mission is to take entrepreneurship and financial literacy to Middle America. They do complete financial management for their clients starting from retirement planning, investments, college funds, etc. to teaching and educating people on the basics to money.
Jay Gauthier Jr. started his business at 21 in a world which he understood was dominated by people over 40 years old and he didn’t stand a chance to survive as an entrepreneur. ‘At the end of the day, we were not supposed to make it’, he says. His dad is a pastor and mother, a high school teacher. Gauthier Jr. says he wants people to know that regardless of where they come from, they can break the cycle of middle class or poverty in their family by becoming a first generation entrepreneur. He considers Ed Mylett his mentor and feels great that Mylett’s spirit of never stopping inspires him every day.
Tenacity now has one of the top financial teams in the country. It is ranked in top 20 amongst all of USA and Canada with 175 advisors. Gauthier envisions of running an organization with at least 2500 advisers and have offices in all 50 states.
