Toronto based artist Ranko, has been making his way onto the hip hop scene as an independent artist. Inspired by the likes of Jay-Z, Drake, and Lil Baby, his sound has been gaining traction quickly around the world.
Facing many roadblocks, such as being in prison and losing his mother to cancer, the road for Ranko has never been easy. Ranko’s career began in high school when he rapped at talent shows but he didn’t take music seriously until 2016. It was this time in his life when he decided to pursue music with everything he had left.
Currently in hot pursuit of a career in music, Ranko has done some things many could only dream of. He’s opened up for Casanova and been in the studio with Busta Rhymes, all traveling the world with his music.
Ranko is set to drop a new single April 28 on all Platforms “Barz Ova Bagdad” feat Stormmillian (@guweeyv_olhboss), a UK rapper out of NW London Harlesden.
