With famous artists soaking up mainstream spotlights, it’s not every day that you stumble across smaller artists and producers. There are many extremely talented people that float just underneath the spotlight, with rich stories and endless creativity that most people never get a chance to see. One such talent is London, UK’s Patrick Osei, aka Hot Money.
Hot Money started out playing piano at the age of 7 after getting a keyboard for Christmas. After messing about with the demo presets, he wanted to dive deeper into music, and began taking piano lessons. Hot Money got his first computer for music production in his teen years, and has been producing ever since. Once he found his footing in production, he attended SAE (School of Audio Engineering), where he learned to truly take his beats to the next level.
Now, Hot Money has been producing beats and making music for over 20 years. Through his experiences he has worked with huge UK artists such as Stormzy, Stefflon Don, and Krept & Konan at his recording facility in London. Hot Money has heard his beats take over the UK club scene, and has achieved levels of success many artists and producers never come close to. With a new album of instrumentals dropping on the 18th of May, 2020, and plans to launch a record label called Hot Money Recordings, Hot Money has big plans for the future, and continues to push his career further and further every day.
