Alec Kesheshian’s work has been enjoyed by his friends since the young age of 16, when he started making hoodie designs for them as a hobby. Since then, he has wanted to create a clothing line that can bring people together.
How God’s Dream Brings People Together
Lifestyle clothing brands are designed to keep people motivated, inspire them, and capture their interests. Kesheshian’s clothing line does all of that, plus he has the benefit of having a large following of fans on his social media.
He has mentioned that his friends or fans will often tag themselves in photos wearing clothing from his line. Through this method, people can find others with similar interests easier in the tags. This has grown his following and reachable audience significantly in a short amount of time.
God’s Dream and Influencer Marketing
After his friends started promoting his clothing, other social media influencers took note of Kesheshian’s brand and started doing the same. He said that this helped to further spread his business to those interested in specific clothing niches.
Through influencers and his own social media, Kesheshian has been connecting people. He believes that his clothing line would not have done as well if the internet could not have exposed his work to so many different people.
Especially during current times with the effects of the health pandemic and social distancing, staying in touch with your friends and family online is important. Kesheshian’s brand has been building connections between people through his website, social media, and other online methods.
The 2019 Summer Pop Up Store
Once his website was established, Kesheshian took the initiative to open up a physical store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. He saw this as a challenge to show everyone that he was serious about his brand and did not want anyone thinking that God’s Dream was just a randomly slapped together website.
His store is also able to connect individuals in person. Overall, Kesheshian’s brand has been building relationships between people who enjoy seeing his designs and wearing his lifestyle clothing.
Not only that, but this pop up store also contributed 15% of their profits to an Armenian local charity organization that funded after school programs- further bringing more people together through a cause.
Conclusion
Alec Kesheshian’s lifestyle brand has been bringing people together ever since he decided to open a business. Through social media and influencers, Kesheshian has been connecting people to each other through his clothing line over the internet.
Plus, his brick and mortar store was able to attract many customers (with his first season of product selling out very fast) who were brought together under the brand and Kesheshian’s unique ideas about lifestyle clothing. Many people felt united together under a cause when his pop up store started raising money for a charity.
In short, Kesheshian’s God’s Dream clothing line has been able to successfully bring people together since it first launched not long ago.
