M Dot Taylor is a Detroit native that has been on a mission as of recent when pursuing his rap career. The rapper has been using the work ethic, structure, and communication he used in the military to now execute becoming the next big thing from the motor city of the world.
It all started as a kid when the young rapper would go to church often with his mother. As they would go to church, he would always sing along with the songs every sunday service. This gave the future star a musical background which he uses every day when writing new music. With this he is able to analyze rhythm and melodies allowing him to flow multiple ways.
Later on M Dot Taylor was affected by tragedy and decided to enlist in the military. From here he learned lots of different types of skills that become useful to today. When asked in an interview about his inspirations, M Dot Taylor said, “Ice T because he’s a veteran like me, he lost both of his parents like me but yet still never gave up”. This shows the relationship between being a veteran and being able to bounce back in the music industry for the two rappers.
Being a military veteran and rap veteran sets M Dot Taylor apart from most rappers due to his experiences on all fronts. The resilience he’s built now prepares him for his next trials in the music industry as he becomes the next big rapper to blow up in Detroit.
