The famous neck specialist, Thijs van der Hilst’s tailor-made pillow is the queen of all pillows. It is encrusted with gems and teamed with a fabric infused with 24-carat gold. The 3D structure and the shape are so very unique that it gives a different feel when you pay your head on it.
It has four diamonds and an enormous 22.5 Ct sapphire in the zip. It is expensive and comfortable. The price of the single pillow is almost equivalent to a Mercedes GLA 250 or a mansion in Wellington.
It comes with a myriad of options and price ranges for you to choose from, namely goose, memory foam, latex and synthetic.
David Baxter, Otago University’s Baxter researched alternative methods for musculoskeletal, and tissue repair says that his personal view is that the evidence for customized pillows is not reliable. He adds that it is not possible to state or recommend s a perfect pillow for anybody. It is always the one that makes it comfortable for people to lay on. Registered musculoskeletal clinical specialist Steve Tumilty says, “A pillow that provides the correct posture and support when lying on your back wouldn’t necessarily be the correct size and shape for you when you were lying on your side. The pillow should support your neck and shoulders to be relaxed in a neutral posture regardless of whether you are lying on your side or back.”
He adds that they lack adequate support for people who have neck pain, but some people adore the softness. If you are selecting best pillow for your night, and have neck pain or the allergy to dust mites, then this pillow is not the one for you.
The pillow might be extremely expensive; however, it doesn’t suit all.
