Originally from Houston, Christian Parker has been away at work, grinding out new music with a multitude of producers in LA. After many years trying to find a footing in the industry that included a rebranding/renaming from Christo Sparkkzz to PARKER, he is set to release an album on September 19, 2020, and soon to come are two singles entitle “ZAZA” and “COWBOY.”
Christian’s new music will be highlighted by a raw, true, and real sound motivated by a challenging past. In an interview, he revealed that he is inspired by “God, my life struggles, my family, and the freedom I feel when I go into the booth. It’s like stepping into a dark mirror where you find out who you truly are”. This experience led him to take a break from making music to, as Christian states, “actually learn and experience new things.”
Parker compares his rise as PARKER to that of a phoenix from ashes. Though his past was marked by jail, homelessness, heartbreak, the birth of a child, and forced moves, he encourages others that “some challenges you may face as an artist are starting the foundation [toward success].”
