We are all familiar with the conventional story of success. The one that says you must get good grades so you can go to a good school and land a good paying job working 40 hours a week, for 40 years until you retire off of 40% of your income. It seems that someone forgot to share this story with Ryan Morris, the 25-year-old founder of iFortune Marketing and J & R Rentals. His inspiring journey to success has been anything but conventional. This is his story.
Ryan was raised by a loving family with conservative values the small town of Warrenton, Virginia. This conservative upbringing instilled a strong worth ethic in Ryan at a young age. He was raised to admire honest and hard work. This dedication to hard work and honesty led Ryan to be named as a team captain in multiple sports at Liberty High School. Ryan’s commitment to excellence gained the attention of Central Connecticut State University’s football program, where he was extended an offer to play. After his first semester grades came in, Ryan found himself questioning whether college was the right path for him but did could not think of an alternative plan. As luck would have it, within a few short weeks Ryan was introduced to the Network Marketing industry and his life would never be the same.
The Network Marketing industry opened Ryan’s eyes to a whole new world of possibilities. Just as with sports, Ryan’s commitment to excellence propelled him to becoming a top performer within the space. Despite the skepticism of his family and friends, Ryan made the decision to drop out of college and focus full-time on entrepreneurial ventures. Determined to succeed, Ryan stayed focused on skillset and mindset development, knowing that both would be crucial to his success in business.
As with all great entrepreneurial stories, Ryan’s climb to the top has been a series of ups and downs. In fact, one of the most difficult and defining times in Ryan’s life came during this period. Since making the decision to drop out of college Ryan’s business had not grown as quickly as would have hoped. As a result, he found himself homeless, literally sleeping in his car on a nightly basis while trying to rebuild his business. This was no easy task, but Ryan’s commitment to his dreams drove him through the difficult times and into a future with two thriving businesses within a few short months.
Ryan credits his network of associations for providing guidance, belief, and support when times became most difficult. Currently, Ryan lives in a beautiful condo in Myrtle Beach while operating two thriving businesses- iFortune Marketing and J & R Vacations. Ryan believes deeply in the power of the human spirit and knows that if he was able to succeed through all the challenges, that other can as well.
