Matt West is focused on his mission to empower people to train their mind and live with energy, inspiration and joy. To propel that mission, Matt West co-founded a new meditation app boom journal that he is set to launch in the early 2021. The meditation app, Boom Journal can help anyone train the mind to manage stress easier.
Boom Journal is meditation app that helps to boost the positive attitude and healthy thinking pattern of people. It is designed to help people train their thinking patterns to enjoy the bright moments that happen, and to live a joyous & productive life.
Born in Northridge, California, Matt West took inspiration from his psychology teacher, Mr. Prince, during his high school time to explore the potential of the human mind. He obtained two Master’s degrees in psychology from Pepperdine University and Cal State Northridge by 24.
Over the span of of a decade practicing as a psychologist, he managed to earn a six-figure income in the field. Despite all this, Matt West was overwhelmed with the life stressors, and after going through a major life stressor he decided to revisit a tool he used in high school, mindful journaling. So, in 2018, he started to take a control of his life and he started mindfully journaling, mindfully eating, and waking up early as part of his morning routine.
After his noticed the positive changes that it was making in his life, he decided to launch a meditation app, Boom Journal, to help people train the mind and learn how to relax.
Using this app, people can easily track their mood, energy, and attention to capture the positive moments in their life. Boom Journal is designed using neuroscience and cognitive behavior therapy techniques to help people live a stress-free and harmonious life to meet their daily demands in life.
