Lazaris, the Top Don, is a Puerto Rican & Cuban artist. His music history dates back to 1999 when he was the Master of Ceremony having obtained a Cuban link with terror squad where he was referred to as a ‘new fresh air in the music industry.’
Having come from a family of a musical bloodline and dynasty, Lazaris the top don’s first mixtape and album release was a success as the dynasty influenced his path and journey in music.
Lazaris the Top Don’s success didn’t come on a silver platter. He attributes his success to some people who played a major role in becoming a big deal in the musical industry. Arsenio Rodriguez, who is Lazaris’ uncle, had been in the industry since he was a child inspired him. Other people who Lazaris attributes to his success include DA Inphamus Amadeuz, who guided him in learning the behind the scenes part of the music industry, Big Pun, and Kurtis Blow.
The Memorable Moments
Having experienced lots of exciting times, Lazaris the Top Don discloses the most exciting one to be sometime back in 2019 when he was in Atlanta GA for an Ac3 event where he got a platform to rock a stage with a huge crowd hence promoting his music. He was also interviewed by a writer from XXL magazine and went to Sirius XM Shade 45 where DJ Kay Slay interviewed him.
The launch of his album ‘svccess’ is also a memorable one as he experienced the kind of reaction he wanted from his fans and the masses.
Work in Progress
The Top Don is currently working on a new album titled The Life Of A Don that will be coming in April 2021 that he claims to be the most exciting project he has worked on. The new album comes after the album ‘Success In My Path’ that he released during the pandemic period was ranked in the ‘100 Best Albums From NYC.’
Service To others
Lazaris offers professional consultations and advice to the new generation of upcoming artists hence helping them get better. He believes that for an artist to rise higher, he must design his mind to withstand all the challenges in the game of music. He also advises them to ensure they are the hardest working persons in their organizations and also know to enjoy their good moments when they need to recharge for fresh thoughts.
