In a massive online survey conducted on the reddit, over 52,000 people took part to choose their favorite pokemon out of 800 different pokemon. The survey on the reddit channel, r/Pokemon asked reddit users to choose from a wide variety of pokemon available to them.
Except for four pokemon, every pokemon received at least one vote. And the survey results had shown that each pokemon received an average of 65 votes and the most-liked pokemon got only 2% of support with 1107 votes. The Internet Favorite Pokemon survey released by Mamamia 1001 showed impressive results. Yungoos, Silcoon, Gothita, and Electrike are the names of four Pokemon which received no votes at all.
Various other Pokemon such as Cosmoem, Skorupi, Patrat, Sweaddle, Alomomola, Exeggcute, Trumbeak, and Baltoy got only a single vote. It is clearly visible from the results that the ancestors of pokemon with zero votes did receive some love on the internet. Alomomola is the only one which is not a part of an evolutionary chain and still received one vote.
The survey results showed that around 27% of Pokemon received 80% of votes which clearly indicates that there are some pokemon which enjoy huge popularity among people. Mamamia 1011 organized the results on the basis of type, generation, and many other factors related to Pokemon. The first three positions in the result were grabbed by Charizard, Gengar, and Arcanine.
Bulbasaur, Blaziken, Umbreon, Lucario, Gardevoir, Eevee, and Dragonite managed to fall on the top ten positions. Pikachu failed to score well and be seated as low as the 44th place which was really a surprising thing to note in the results.
