(Q) Tell us how it all started with your debut single No Kickers with UK rapper SNE
(A) Me & SNE was in the studio working on some ideas. We got some beats sent over from a great upcoming producer that goes by the name of Banks. When we create a record we always start with a concept, that concept was lets talk about the struggle that we had growing up.
(Q) How was the struggle for you growing up, tell me more?
(A) We both grew up in single parent households. We looked back to the time when we went to school, the popular school shoes back then was kickers, we couldn’t afford them back then. We laughed about it in the studio at the time, we said lets make a song about that.
(Q) I had a listen to the song myself, it’s a great record, I could not find a video for it on Youtube, why is that?
(A) when we planned to shoot the video, we sadly went into lockdown due to coronavirus, due to COVID-19 we then said we will just release the audio for now then do a video at a later stage.
