Of course, most people think of the Big Easy when it comes to Louisiana, but there’s a rapper/ Entrepreneur by the name of Bjay WatchDatBaby (Byron Landingham Jr.) from Baton Rouge. Born on June 24, 1992, the multi-talent fell in love with rap at the age of 13. He took his time before making it a real thing, officially releasing music at 21. He’s built an empire, & made a mark in the entertainment market from promoting the hottest nightclubs, to making the hottest club songs. The Best of both worlds, but don’t for a second think the paper chase detracts from the bars. His biggest hit “Turn Up” blew up down south, Now, the vision is toward the future. With continued growth, more money, Bjay is a force to be reckoned with.

Who you are?
I’m Bjay WatchDatBaby, Rapper / Promoter / Club Owner, basically involved with anything that has something to do with entertainment.
What made you want to start making music?
My dad inspired me to rap, he used to rap back in the gap , so he put me in the studio when I was about 13 years old.
How do you want to be known in your city when it is all said and done?
I want to bring everyone in the city together, I want to give back to the communities to show that there are actually some good people out here.
Any fun plans for 2021
My plans for 2021 are to grind get more business-minded, of course, make more money… I also plan on opening 2 more businesses.
How COVID has affected your grind?
In my market, I took a major loss, because entertainment was to the point where you couldn’t make money off it because of restrictions I couldn’t throw parties or do concerts.
Covid made me sit back & realize that’s it’s more ways to make money rather than entertainment.
