The “God’s Country” singer Blake Shelton is super excited to celebrate his four-year anniversary of dating with girlfriend Gwen Stefani in November. Shelton is very much amazed about how quickly their time of dating has passed together.
In one of his interviews at the time of doing an event for IHG Rewards Club Chase Mastercard cardholders in Los Angeles on June 21, Blake Shelton reflected on four years with Gwen Stefani, and told people that actually it is very shocking that it has already been that long. It’s kind of a blur and he still feels like it’s pretty new to him.
In the fall, the fans will get the opportunity to see their favourite 43 year old singer Shelton and his girlfriend Stefani who is 49 returning to the set of NBC’s ‘The Voice’ – the same place where their romance first blossomed.
The couple has just started the filming of the Blind Auditions along with their fellow coaches – Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. This friendly competition is already heating up. A Pizza party was organised for Shelton’s birthday last week where Stefani gifted him a “huge” custom welcome sign to put on display at his Oklahoma ranch. In addition to this her 3 sons Kingston, Zuma and Apollo who are from her ex Gavin Rossdale also wrote out sweet birthday cards for Shelton.
During this party Stefani shared a photo of Shelton to her Instagram Story where she wrote “Getting excited to beat this guy on the voice this season!” In his response to her Instagram message Shelton said that he is glad that Stefani is already feeling competitive but definitely he will not let her win and he himself will win it in such a way that she doesn’t feel like he has beaten her. He does not intend to upset his girlfriend as that would not pay him off in the long run. Stefani is aware of what she is doing as this is her fourth time on the show and she is no stranger to it.
Everyone around is speculating whether the happy couple look forward for an engagement in the coming days. Shelton recently told Entertainment Tonight that “Their bond is getting stronger with every passing day so obviously it would lead somewhere.”
