Boss Lady’s journey to becoming an artist has been a long time coming. Growing up, Boss Lady was a “TV Buff,” constantly paying close attention to whatever was going on on the TV. One artist that caught her eye at a young age was Bow Wow, and his videos inspired her to start making rhymes.
Boss Lady wrote her first rap at six years old, hoping to get a head start amongst her peers. She began rap battling her siblings and family members, which taught her how to take her craft seriously. Many years later, Boss Lady has been making headway as an independent artist.
Her latest track, “Freak” featuring Kyy Stacks, has amassed over 25K plays on Spotify alone. Working beside @slixmix studios and @genurus studio, Boss Lady has been preparing to release new tracks for the rest of 2020. Her next single is set to be released in October.
