Chit2am with Sepehr Khalse
Vocalist Chit2am, though considered a new crop of Persian rap scene, already has more than 10 song releases since he started in the beginning of 2018. He has garnered many fans across the world who have been listening to his tunes over a million times on the leading Persian music platform, Radio Javan, and other music platforms.
Chit2am is followed by many on social media platforms like Instagram and his song teasers have been getting many takers. The song teasers feature him in fast cars, by the poolside, in his studio depicting how much he has earned following his passion and dream of making music that plays in clubs, during road trips and in cars.
Mehdi Chitsaz is Chit2am’s real name and he has been inclined towards music since childhood when he used to play guitar and piano and then took it up professionally in 2016 by the age of 17. He has also created opportunities for others by training them and investing in their music projects.
Mehdi collaborated with Nicotine, a local producer and his best friend in Montreal to make his first album. Both of them produced many unofficial singles that didn’t release but taught them so much about music and market making Mehdi turn his attention towards bigger projects. 2018 saw him collaborating with Nima Nimosh, very well known Persian rappers and in 2019 he released a song called “Captain” produced by a known producer Khashayar Sr.
This got Mehdi the opportunity to be featured in “Bez Jibet – Remix” by Behzad Leito and Sepehr Khalse with the artist name of Chit2am, making him more popular among all Iranian communities. Now he has dedicated his skills to develop the ideas of other young talents by looking for them, helping them grow, and supporting them in selling their ideas and developing skills.
