A significant influence in his life has been his father, who in the 1990s were also amongst the top performers and entertainers with Hampton Roads based band “Easy Street”. This band, once signed to Nashville recording label Liberty Records operated by music mogul, Jimmy Bowen. Since Ty‘s childhood, he was drawn towards the vast industry of music and inherited a lot about the business from his father. Watching his Dad perform on stage, little Ty knew that one day he would grow up to entertain crowds in much of the same fashion.
His dreams indeed become a reality as Ty Street became a phenomenon with his unique DJing style and earned a name for himself by expanding his career performing at various nationally recognized and some of the largest stages/venues in America. His custom style sets him apart from others who share a DJ title that you can’t help but love his originality. Proof starts with the nickname he has earned as ‘The White Boot Bandit’, when he steps on any stage wearing his signature white ostrich cowboy boots.
