Life demands some determination, a dose of passion, and an unwavering commitment to succeed despite the challenges. This explains the story of Lara Rahib, the Palestine-born queen of e-commerce whose exponential growth in the business earned her the nickname “The Ecom Wolf.”
Currently, the CEO of her e-commerce business, based in Temecula, California, runs a consultancy that helps average 9-5ers earn millions. You can connect with her on her Facebook page at “Lara the Ecom Wolf or join her Facebook group to access her teachings at “The Ecom Wolves”.
Growing up
Lara has been living in the United States with her parents, her only sister, and two brothers from age one. Lara went through several hurdles; unemployment, surviving on food stamps, and at some point suffering from anxiety.
Despite the challenges, she studied biology in college and joined the real estate industry afterward. She also took up several sales jobs, which helped polish her selling skills and became an invaluable asset to her career. Lara did not always have a smooth relationship with her former bosses, indicating her entrepreneurial spirit and need for business control.
After her e-commerce store picked up, Lara was able to help her parents retire, buy a house at 30 and invest in real estate, which has been one of her passions. Today, she has an extensive real estate investment portfolio, an opportunity she credits to e-commerce. “The game-changer was e-commerce, allowing me to invest in real estate, which builds long-term, generational wealth,” the e-commerce boss said.
Joining Real Estate
Before her e-commerce journey, Lara was in the real estate market for five years. She enjoyed her job and gained a lot of experience closing deals as a realtor. When she realized she wanted more control over her finances, she opted for e-commerce. “I wanted to make money while I was sleeping, on vacation, or spending time with family and friends. I was banking on deals to close and my fate was in the hands of people buying or selling homes. I wanted more control.”
E-commerce provided a solid foundation for generating passive income and staying in charge of her business. According to her, I “was in Real estate for 5 years before starting my e-commerce journey.” She saved 50k helping people buy and sell homes. That savings allowed me to focus on e-commerce and build my brands solely.”
Shifting to E-commerce
E-commerce primarily involves buying and selling goods online, as opposed to traditional commerce. As a newbie, she joined the Amazon platform and made up to 700,000 dollars in her first year, with her monthly income at about 30,000 dollars. This achievement encouraged her to stay committed to the business.
However, when sales tanked on the platform and her monthly revenue dropped to 4,000, Lara knew she had to opt for a better alternative. She created her website and pushed her brand alone without a third-party company. In her first three months, she made over 1.3 million dollars in sales, indicating that her decision was seasoned.
To stay relevant in her business, she also got mentored on how to run Google, Facebook, and Pinterest ads successfully. From that moment to now, there is no stopping the wolf who has gone on to conquer the world of e-commerce.
Armed with her exponential growth and experience, Lara has become a consultant, helping others who have come to learn from her wealth of knowledge. She has become a teacher, coaching others on ways to escape the 9-5 cycle and earn 6 & 7 figures.
Lara Rahib has continued to be a beacon of hope that success is achievable. She is keenly interested in philanthropy and is passionate about helping LGBTQ youths in her community. She wants to help individuals worldwide escape their drudging 9-5 jobs and make millions. True to her generous nature, the e-commerce CEO opined, “I truly enjoy helping people and teaching, and I am so grateful and excited to be in a position where I can help others change their lives for the better.”
