Young Social media specialist Jake T. Davidson is making noise with his rising popularity in the social media world. Within the past few years, the 17-year-old influencer has converted his array of large niche pages into a strong brand by capitalizing on digital trends.
Jake T. Davidson started his journey on social media in the year 2016. Since then, he’s built up a follower network of over 1.5 million fans. The key to his success is his focus on building the brand personality. He continuously introduces new things to impress himself as well as the target audience. Whether it be immersive content, interactive captions, or story polls, his goal is to innovate the way people interact with a basketball page. The young entrepreneur believes in working on unique ideas and content optimization. He excitingly interacts with his followers and produces original content to build the theme personality of his account. Doing so has helped him convert his account into a popular brand in today’s digital space. He frequently utilizes affiliate marketing deals, proving that his accounts have garnered a large fanbase.
His secondary focus lies in networking. Jake frequently puts time into social media networking and interacting with like-minded people to create original content, therefore innovating his account.
Jake began his social media path during the summer of 2014 on a seemingly upcoming platform called “Vine”. In 2015 alone, the media sharing app would amass over 200 million users in total. Although most users consumed content, Jake wanted more. He wanted to create the content itself, and be able to share his voice with thousands of users. At 13 years old, he amassed a following of over 56,000 fans who tuned in for his unique basketball content. Since the termination of Vine, he’s shifted focus to his Instagram page, @SaucyCrossup.
Jake hopes to continue building his social media following on Instagram, but is prepared to migrate if something happens to the platform. He notes “around half of my pages have been disabled at one point or another. I’ve learned that having the skill to industrialize growth is the key to social media.”
As his pages continue to grow, so does his personal brand. Jake has been sponsored by large brands such as Body Armor, while also being part of an exclusive group selected to attend virtual NBA games. Being an affiliate of the popular sports app Playline, he’s generated thousands through their influencer program.
