Stamos speaks on the college bribery scandal where his co-star of Fuller House was accused. John Stamos spills the beans on Lori Loughlin and admits that her legal troubles have been a challenge for the whole cast and crew of Fuller House.
The actress and her husband have been accused of paying approximately $500,000 in bribery to college consultants in order to get their two daughters admit in top IVY league universities of the USA.
The pair have pleaded not guilty. But Loughlin will not be starring in the upcoming season of Fuller House due to her legal troubles. However, Stamos is sure that her absence will be crucial to the upcoming season and they’re not sure how it is going to be addressed.
“I haven’t been on the show yet and it hasn’t come up, so I’m going to talk to some people about it this week and see what’s going on,” he said. “I’m just going to wait a little longer before I talk about it. It’s a difficult situation for everyone involved. I don’t mean just on our side.”
There is no release date for the season as of yet. But according to Stamos, it is likely that the season will be split in to two parts and each part will consist of Nine episodes.
Loughlin is not the only Hollywood A lister to be accused of bribery in the college bribery case. Many other actors have also been called out such as Felicity Huffman. The operation has been named operation Varsity Blues and it is thought that the briberies celebs used to get their children into top Universities was as big as $250,000.
