Luka Khvedeliani is a 19-year-old passionate Karate player who has achieved a lot in this sport. He is based in Georgia and he wants to make Karate more popular as a sport in the coming time. The karate enthusiast dived into the karate world at just 7 years of age.
Since then, Luka Khvedeliani is practicing karate with great zeal. When he began, it was not his desire to be a part of this sport as his father pushed him to train due to his serious involvement in karate for many years. He first got trained under the 7th-dan black belt holder Mr. Mikheil Makharadze who is also a General Secretary of Georgian National Karate Federation.
At present, Luka Khvedeliani is training in the Wadō-ryū style of karate with Sensei Irakli Tkebuchava, a multi-time winner of Georgia. Luka Khvedeliani has graduated from the 133rd public school, Tbilisi, Georgia. Currently, he is a Coaches Faculty sophomore at Georgian State Teaching University of Physical Education and Sport.
Luka Khvedeliani has got many achievements in his basket as he is a three-time world champion in Shotokan Karate and a two-time European Champion in Wadō-ryū Karate. He won the world championship in 2013 (Turkey), 2016 (Poland), and 2018 (Turkey).
And the karate player got European championships in 2015 (Denmark) and 2016 (the Netherlands). Additionally, Luka Khvedeliani is a seven-time champion of Georgia and he has won numerous prizes in international tournaments. He is also a 2nd-dan black belt holder due to his expertise in Karate.
Luka Khvedeliani expresses that he only wants to play for Georgia and he has never competed for any other nation. He wants to make his country proud by achieving a big place in the karate sport.
Until now, the young successful athlete has not got any sponsors despite making efforts to negotiate with many companies.
