Growing up in the town of Newark, New Jersey, is up-and-coming rapper RayKatanna. He has lived in Jersey his whole life and uses the unique music culture of the area to shape the sound he is known for today. Coming from the trenches, RayKatanna aims to give hope to others and reassure people all across the globe that no matter what society deems as normal, it does not mean that you have to fit the mold they make for you. He is more than a rapper, and he is going to prove it.
RayKatanna has always had a love for music but was solely focused on basketball for the majority of his life. After a few left turns led down a path that would cost him his shot at playing ball, RayKatanna turned to rap to fill the void. He now works relentlessly on his music like he once did his game, and he is beginning to develop as an artist.
