Kris Austin, the leader of People’s Alliance mentioned that the province needs to abandon the system owned by the government for selling cannabis and liquor for the process that allows the privately owned shops and stores to proceed for the selling.
Austin’s comments regarding Information Morning Frederiction comes post the CEO for NB Liquor & Cannabis named NB Brian Harriman made an announcement last week stating that he was actually stepping down from his position. Austin also mentioned that this change brought along for the top position of Crown Corporation might bring along a philosophical change that will recognize a complete privatization while working in the best interest of the province.
He further commented that when one takes a look at the jurisdictions across the territorial expanse of North America, it has been conceptualized exceptionally well which includes the example of one in Alberta as well.
