Claudio Marques is a Portuguese born independent Music Producer, Rapper, Singer & Songwriter. The rapper was born and raised in Lisbon, capital city of Portugal, known for its beautiful beaches and good weather. However, if we look deep in to the roots, Claudio’s family originates from Cape Verde (Cabo Verde), a beautiful island in Africa that only inhabits around 550,000 people. Due to a limited economic base and a gross lack of natural resources, some areas of Cape Verde are mired in poverty.
Claudio Marques wants to change this. Along with helping Cape Verde as a country, he also wants to help his Cape Verdean community in Portugal, where most of the people live in degraded areas of Lisbon. Rapper Claudio Marques also lived in a degraded area of Lisbon for many years, before moving to the UK to make music.
The rapper feels that he can inspire those who inhabit these degraded areas. He wants to show them the right path. Those who get inspired can follow this path and also become successful in life.
The Independent rapper Claudio Marques has now shared the stage with many big names in the music industry such as, Ace hood in September 2013 (The Ritz, Manchester), Busta Rhymes, Method Man & Red Man in November 2013 (Hammersmith Apollo, London), Soraia Ramos in November 2019 (The Radius Club, Peterborough), amongst many others.
Claudio Marques is now working on a mini biographical documentary, and many are looking forward to this. In the meantime, fans can sit back and enjoy some good music from the rapper.
