Versatile, fascinating, relentless, authentic. These are just a few words to describe upcoming sensation, Wolf Mason, coming to dominate the music scene.
Giving off the vibe of an emerging recording artist just as much as he does iconic authors… Wolf Mason emits an effortlessly new kind of cool that lies “somewhere between James Dean and F. Scott Fitzgerald”.
A prolific writer, actor, and musician, there is one thing or another that will attract you to this unique, self-proclaimed rock star.
By the age of 21, Wolf Mason has been able to solidify himself in the music industry by being named top emerging artist in multiple media outlets. Since his first project in early 2020, he has accumulated millions of streams since the release, and has taken waves across multiple social media platforms. One of his newest songs “Mariah” is being used as part of the soundtrack in Netflix show Elite, and his latest single “By Myself” is approaching 500,000 streams, all as an independent artist.
How does one accomplish so much, so early, like this 22 year old entertainer? Wolf credits his authenticity and his unique style that can capture a wide array of people, relating and radiating to his stimulating personality. “Most of my fans love me for my “intoxicating” personality. I am a highly educated, incredibly articulate, super energetic, care-free person. I have a very unique sense of style, I am constantly lifting up others, yet am incredibly (at times astonishingly) blunt and outspoken on issues and ideas I believe in or disagree with”, Wolf explained.
Wolf is not afraid to tell you how he feels. Which you can hear in his undeniably powerful music, that so many people can relate to and feel on a personal level. His process of making music is so unique as well. He redefines the word independent. He explains the “grind until you can’t” mentality, “I not only produce, direct and edit all of our content from my bedroom studio, but I produce, record, write, mix and master all of my own music from there as well”. Mason keeps the humble attitude because he knows this is just the beginning for him.
Mason wants to do more than just make music that people can relate to. He wants to change the stigma and alter the trends, that it is not all about material possessions and getting validity from others, but to derive the importance of helping others, loving our planet, and preaching the necessity for authenticity. He breaks it down, “I try to pave the way by openly singing about my own personal struggles with mental health, drugs and alcohol and other issues in my life – hoping it will empower others to do the same (i.e. make peace and love themselves and stop feeling the need to put up a front to succumb to the manufactured lockstep of society’s unrealistic expectations)”.
Moving forward, Wolf Mason’s goals are to continue to get better every day and grow into reaching new depths of honesty, articulation and culture to his listeners and inspire to care less about materialism and metrics that create detrimental effects. He leads by example by claiming to donate 10% of his royalties to the National Park Fund. He goes into detail, “Ultimately I want to use my gifts and talents to give – I have a passion for education and want to play a role in reforming our education system and making it more effective one day. I also want to continue to help our planet and give to our national parks”.
His best work is yet to come. He stays motivated by knowing he has yet to really tap into his potential and that he has many more lives to impact. The pressure to succeed does not keep him up at night as he knows what should happen will come to him with constant hard work and continuing to do the right things. “Despite all of my flaws and shortcomings, I have always marched to the beat of my own drum and succeeded because of it – and the amount of people who have told me that they tried out for this team, or tried this activity or talked to this person because they saw me do something they were always scared to (even before I made music) opened my eyes to my innate potential to help and inspire others – all by being unbashful and unapologetically myself”. He goes on to say that the only one that you are competing with, is yourself. Embrace the path and express true, genuine love along the way and the rest will fall into place.
What’s next? Check out Wolf Mason with his new single coming out on June 2 called #Ikurmad (which is also his birthday!) which will provide a super fun upbeat song for summer! He believes it will be his best one yet. In the meantime you can check out his other work on all platforms and you can find him on
