Well, almost all of us have our own fantasies when it comes to exquisite cuisine and always want to satisfy that quest and hunger for good food by trying many varied dishes and food creations by exploring several restaurants of the world. This is a big dream that many of us have when it comes to exploring the world of great and delectable dishes. To get us nearer to our visions and promise to satisfy our hunger for great food is Germany’s leading restaurateur Orkan Doganci.
Born on February 25, 1981, in Troisdorf, Germany, Doganci belongs to a Turkish immigrant family and the one thing that always excited and interested him since his childhood was food and entrepreneurship. Hence, in his very early teenage years to satisfy his quest to do something in the food business and start his journey, he began to work in the kitchen of his father’s restaurant. The love that Doganci naturally had since the beginning can be credited to his father, who owned many small restaurants in Germany. Learning the basics from his father and gaining more experiences, gave him much confidence to start his own food business in the future.
For his expedition in food, Doganci started his journey to travel to various parts of the world after completion of his school. This decision was to understand the different food culture, varieties, cuisines, etc. all over the world. Understanding the food business gave him a new high and made him realize his purpose. This made him shift to London being still under 30 then. After following and understanding the food business structure and the working of the same in the UK, he, along with his two business partners, finally opened up a restaurant “Bosporus”, shifting to Dubai. This restaurant since then has made a name as the best and the most prominent Turkish restaurant chains in Dubai.
Doganci never had to look back after this and he went ahead to launch another restaurant named “Fahham” in Istanbul. The restaurateur and entrepreneur is also looking to start another restaurant in the US. With this, he has launched several restaurants in Germany already over the years.
What’s even more amazing about Doganci is that apart from being a leading restaurateur, he has shown his interest in being an investor as well, with the aim to support start-ups.
Good news is that soon Doganci would also be restarting all his restaurants, which had been closed down due to the pandemic. He would be reopening his food spaces with all the safety measures, social distancing and protection for staff and customers; this would give the customers a chance again to relish their favourite dishes at all his restaurants.
