CyberBoy, the CEO, of Cyber Boy Corp., knows what it’s like to work for a company acknowledged as one of the Nation’s leading experts on executive protection. There is nothing CyberBoy has not seen that other companies within the industry have experienced. The private security firm he works for protects clients at residential properties, commercial properties, and leads protection details for high-level executives when they travel. CyberBoy has experienced a lot in a short period of time. Now, he is venturing into cybersecurity with his affiliate. We walked alongside CyberBoy on West Riverside Drive and Warner Boulevard in Burbank, Ca to listen to him speak about his plans for 2022.
Do you know how many people would love to be in your shoes right now?
CyberBoy: Zero. The path to success is a lonely road. I am not mentally dependent on anybody. I have to be resilient. I have to demonstrate psychological resilience. I have to emotionally cope with gains and losses. I have to have tunnel vision. I have to disregard people. I have to stick to myself. I have to hear things I don’t want to hear. I have to see things I don’t want to see. I have to do a lot of things that people would find mundane. I have to do this. I have to do that. Most importantly, I have to take care of myself.
Where are we walking to?
CyberBoy: Past Avon Street. I have an academic assignment to complete today. It involves time and energy. I have to create a PowerPoint presentation based on foreign and domestic laws pertaining to information technology. That’s going to take roughly four hours to complete. I am moving closer and closer to reaching my goal. It’s true though. We need to surround ourselves with the right people, we need to hear the right things, and act on it. Life’s temporary, so, I am doing everything I can to accomplish things I never thought possible. We are at Gate 5 now. Anyhow, yeah, it’s been a long road and it’s not going to end anytime soon. So, I have to keeping working towards my destination.
What made you decide to get into cybersecurity?
CyberBoy: The demand. It is in high demand. There is a shortage of cybersecurity experts. Right now is the perfect time to get in and make big things happen.
Is your plan to make millions of dollars or billions of dollars?
CyberBoy: No. Not at all. This is about learning something that’s of value to consumers, sole proprietors, corporations, and government agencies. Things will change dramatically in 2022. I won’t say much right now, but, 2022 is around the corner. I am building human capital. One day I will be valueless.
What do you mean?
