The journey of every photographer is different and it reflects in their clicks. Luca Boschi is a popular name when it comes to photography. This photographer was born in Teramo which is a small town in Italy. During his early influences, he was bent towards experimental art. The photographer developed interest in studies and performances that are experimental in nature. This later translated into becoming a director for several historical re-enactments.
The photographer started clicking at the age of 25. These images were mostly of friends and models on the street. Here, he studied the effects of natural lighting. Many such pictures were bought by local magazines and journals and this brought him his first camera.
The next step that he took was to start working as a photojournalist. In this stage of life, the photographer started saving for his own studio. By 2013, the photographer established his own studio setup with professional equipment. Now, he was shooting both indoors and outdoors. This made him master both artificial and natural lighting. Also, this helped in shooting both street photography and glamorous in-studio shots.
In 2018, His friend and famous Italian influencer Dellimellow introduced him as ‘thelightarchitect’ on Instagram and on Youtube. In a span of two years, he got more than 20k followers. He invented his personal style of photography and playing with light. He developed a personal technique called shadow weaving. His signature style has dark images with play of light on models where light bends and falls on the model.
Luca believes that right now what he is doing is not money driven. He terms his work as art driven.
