Boos is the first and only Persian Jewish dating app in the world. Quite a lot of thought went into conceptualizing, designing and finally realizing this very unique concept. The Journey of Poly
Boos is the latest creation in Arash’s burgeoning career in business and creativity. Prior to Boos, he has also launched Poly – an app for polygamists; precisely for people who want to have multiple partners at the same time with proper consent. In many cultures, people prefer to have a polygamist lifestyle and this approval comes from both men and women. That entrepreneurial venture was also a huge success for young Arash. However, he has faced some challenges along the way.
The Basketball Dream
Arash always dreamed of becoming an NBA player when he was young. Basketball was so much a part of his life that he never considered any other kind of career. Because he was born to parents from the Middle East, he was expected to live up to the stereotype that he would become a doctor, lawyer, and engineer. Arash never paid heed to this white noise and kept following his passion and dreams as much as he could.
A Change for Good
Despite facing obstacles, Arash worked hard to make it to Santa Monica College’s men’s basketball team. Most tryout spots were reserved for new recruits or returning members, so it wasn’t easy to find a spot. However, Arash didn’t give up. In an attempt to improve his chances of becoming a professional basketball player, he played overseas and later attempted to join the NBA. This career seemed like the best fit for him at the time. But the odds did not favor him as he was in a bad position. In light of his genetic background and origin, he found that would have had some serious difficulties becoming a successful player. In that case, he would have been even more exhausted and beat up when he retired. This led to a change of direction for him. Besides being a basketball player, he also wanted to become a CEO. His idea for an online dating app for Persian-Jewish singles was born after extensive research and hard work. Currently, Arash is transferring to University of Miami to complete his sports administration degree. Meanwhile, he is also managing his business like a champ!

Future Plans
The concept behind BOOS is original and unique. There has never been anything quite like it. Persian and Jewish communities both have their own separate dating applications, but Boos is the only dating app that is available to both groups. For now, Boos only offers its services in the form of its iOS application and website. A version of the Android application is also due to be released very soon; Arash and his team are currently working on designing it.
